Our volunteers are motivated and collaborative and share a passion for solving problemsand the sea. We seek individuals inspired by the prospect of developing new technology and driven by the will to make on environmental change. Deep Voice includes five teams: Reserach, Bio-annotations,Development, Product, and Media.

Michael Faran
CEO
(2013) BSc – Israeli Air Force acoustic signature team leader. Studied Physics BSc and Electrical Engineering BSc in Tel- Aviv University.
With over four years of experience in the different acoustics fields , Michael is now eager to research Marine Mammal’s acoustics.

CTO
Michael (Moshe) Michelachvili, CTO – Graduate student in the Deep Learning Lab at Tel Aviv University. Utilizing multidisciplinary approach to solve problems in research and engineering – “My algorithms go as deep as the ocean”
Daphna Stern
Media team
Daphna graduated (B.A.) with honors in in Photographic Communication from the Hadassah College in Jerusalem in 2018
Prior to attending Hadassah College, Daphna was a Padi and SSI licensed Scuba Diving Instructor. With her passion for diving, she strives to combine those skils and makes films about the ocean and animal conservation.
Amit Galor
Research Engineer
Underwater acoustics officer at the Israeli Ministry of Defense DDR&D. Graduated from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Physics. Graduate student in Electrical Engineering at Tel Aviv University. Has 4 years of experience in conducting experiments with acoustic systems in the underwater environment.
Noam Bressler
Research Engineer
Team leader in the Acoustic Countermeasure department of the Israeli Navy, Talpiot graduate and a current Graduate Student for a physics M.Sc at Tel-Aviv University. Specialises in underwater acoustic wave propagation, acoustic signal processing and machine learning systems.
Aviv Eckshtein
Marine Biology (Student)
Will graduate B.S in Marine Biology at the Ruppin Academic Center in August 2019.
I graduated Dolphins studies at the Dolphin Researc Center, Grassy Key Florida in 2014. I have been volunteering in the Israeli Marine Mammal Research and Assistance Center (IMMRAC) since 2016, and became the volunteer coordinator, a position I have the honor to hold since January 2018.

Talpiot graduate and a current Graduate Student for a physics M.Sc at Tel-Aviv University(2020). Outdoors and animal lover who believes everything can be modeled in Matlab and fixed with duct tape.
Noa Weiss
Research Engineer
With more than 10 years of experience working with data, Noa is a data science freelancer and consultant, helping companies make the best use of today’s machine learning technology in order to hit their KPIs.
In her spare time, Noa leads the Israeli community of Women in Data Science, blogs about machine learning, and mentors junior data scientists taking their first steps in the field.

With over 7 years of experience as a product manager in the tech industry, Liron joined Deep Voice to utilize her skills for an environmental cause. She has a passion for simplifying complex technology and harnessing it for new use cases.
Aviel Shaul
Research Assistant
Aviel graduated (B.A.) in sustainability in the Interdisciplinary Center in 2021. During his studies, he deals with marine biodiversity.
Today Aviel is an Ecommerce Content Manager at AVO Company.
Aviel has been diving on a few locations globally and is also volunteering as a research assistant at whale research institutes.
Evelina Litvin
Product Manager
Evelina has a BA in Management from the Higher School of Economics (Saint-Petersburg, Russia) and four years experience in marketing and customer success.
She has been working with different types of clients, conducting customer research and shaping products for their needs.

We are a team of scientists whose goal is to expedite the restoration of marine mammal populations and conservation through building acoustic-based AI tools. In the near future, we plan to extend our reach and contribute our AI tools to any initiative or research that can prove its efficiency in wildlife conservation.
